Updates to the boat done this year.  The boat was pulled out of the water in November and found to be covered in Zebra Mussels.  These things are going to change the way that boats are handled at Lake Powell and are a major problem and pain to deal with, unfortunately they are here to stay. For a few years  it was determined that people wanted a separate toy fuel tank.  After much research and thought, the best way to haul fuel in under the boat due to extreme temperatures above.  The existing 400 gallon tank was removed and brought to Utah County where I dismantled and converted the tank with its own pump.  It is now designated as the Auxiliary/Toy tank.  Another individual 180 gallon tank was mounted under the boat that is specifically for the 2 motors and marine generator.

 The front deck and rear decks were a gel-coated textured dock plate material.  The front deck at some point had an anchor or other large item dropped on it that cracked the gel-coat.  Over time this caused moisture to get into the center and it slowly rotted causing soft spots in the deck.  After thoughts, I determined that I would remove the old decking, weld aluminum plate down and reattach the existing railings.  As we began to pull the rail to get the old decking off, it was found that the rail had also suffered water intrusion and was rotted beyond repair as pictured.  I determined to add aluminum rail and add attached boxes because the current Rubbermaid boxes lids were broken.
We also decided, because the boat is absolute power dependent to charge batteries we would add a mobile generator in case of failure of the marine generator or as an alternative for people to run. It is hopeful that people will utilize this generator as power supply as it is inexpensive to run and will add significant time to the life of the marine on board generator.  All of this among many many other items have been done this year in an effort to make the boat dependable and durable long term. It has new outdrives, updated lift exauhst, New sewage tank, new counter top on the bar upstairs, just to name a few.  Here are some pics of some of the adds, I hope all enjoy and find them useful.
